Operations Manager

You'll take ownership of property operations across our Togari and Nozawa Onsen locations, working closely with the owners to keep guest experience, staffing, and property standards running smoothly across the full season.

Responsibilities

General duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Scheduling and coordinating the cleaning and housekeeping team across all properties, growing to 15+ staff in winter
• Working alongside the team regularly, performing pre-guest walkthroughs before every check-in
• Maintaining and updating cleaning checklists and standards
• Managing guest check-ins, check-outs, and in-stay issues
• Providing guest transfers (送迎) to Iiyama Station and the Nozawa gondola base
• Handling minor property repairs and coordinating maintenance with tradespeople
• Seasonal property tasks: winterising, snow clearance, landscaping, and grounds upkeep
• Managing listings and availability across Airbnb, Booking.com, and our channel manager
• Reporting monthly on occupancy, staffing, and maintenance to the owners

Experience / Qualifications

Proven snow country operations experience, including seasonal staff management and short-stay platform knowledge (Airbnb, Booking.com, channel manager). Japanese language ability and a clean driving licence required.
